The Abyssal Dawn Has Begun in Snowbreak: Containment Zone

The Abyssal Dawn introduces two captivating new characters: Nerida – Styx Envoy and Nita – Pulse. Nerida wields an assault rifle and boasts an impressive Ultimate that continues to deal damage even when she's off the field. On the other hand, Nita specializes in thermal damage with her shotgun, offering a skill-based playstyle enhanced by a chilling new QTE mechanic.

Alongside these new characters, the update brings a fresh array of outfits. Nerida sports the Dawn’s Command look, while Nita dons the Sylvan Spirit. Nita also has access to the Grove of Secrets bundle, which includes an outfit, a weapon skin, and an interactive scene to enrich your gaming experience.

Other characters are getting new looks as well. Katya – Dawnwing looks sophisticated in Classy Elegance, and Bubu – The Geomancer is ready for a checkup with Vitality Checkup. Fenny – Starshine shines in Nitro Nova, and Yao – Winter Solstice gets Tidy Marksmaid, a nod to fans after her earlier swimsuit outfit was censored.

Tons of Events to Explore

The Abyssal Dawn update is packed with events starting with the Pulse Puzzle. This permanent event allows you to unlock Nita early by solving in-game puzzles linked to her intriguing backstory.

On April 28th, the Emotional Purge event kicks off and runs until May 29th, 2025. This event introduces 3D cover shooter gameplay for the first time, featuring cover vaulting and smooth motion effects that elevate the action.

Starting May 1st, you can participate in Nita’s Invitation, another permanent event. Here, you have the chance to unlock Nita’s maxed-out Auctus Drive, her signature weapon, and a fixed-talent logistics squad, all for free.
