Released May 15, 2024, this iPad Pro boasts a powerful M4 chip and a stunning, first-of-its-kind tandem OLED display. In our 2024 iPad Pro M4 review, Jacqueline Thomas raved, "For creative professionals, this is the most powerful tablet available, excelling in touchscreen-centric workflows. For everyone else, it offers the most breathtaking tablet display, with hardware that will remain top-tier for years."
The 2024 iPad Pro reigns supreme, surpassing all competitors, iOS or otherwise, thanks to its potent yet energy-efficient M4 processor, delivering approximately 20% better performance than its M2 predecessor. But the real star is the innovative tandem OLED screen—a first for Apple. This technology delivers superior brightness and significantly reduces burn-in compared to traditional OLED. Its absence in larger TVs is simply due to cost constraints at those sizes. The iPad's smaller 11" screen makes it feasible, though this contributes to its higher price point within Apple's 2024 tablet lineup.
