Rebel Wolves and Bandai Sign Partnership for "Dawnwalker" Saga
More Dawnwalker Reveals Expected In The Coming Months

Rebel Wolves, the Polish studio founded by key creatives behind The Witcher 3, has partnered with Elden Ring's publisher, Bandai Namco Entertainment. This exciting collaboration was announced early this week, positioning Bandai as the global publisher for Rebel Wolves' eagerly awaited debut, Dawnwalker. This Action RPG, part of the "Dawnwalker" saga, is slated for a 2025 release across PC, PS5, and Xbox.
Set in a richly detailed medieval Europe, Dawnwalker promises a story-driven AAA action-RPG experience infused with dark fantasy elements, tailored for mature audiences. Rebel Wolves, established in 2022 in Warsaw, Poland, is committed to pushing the boundaries of RPGs with a narrative-centric approach. Fans can look forward to more detailed reveals about Dawnwalker in the coming months.
"Rebel Wolves is a new studio built upon solid foundations: a combination of experience and fresh energy. Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe, known for its dedication to the role-playing genre and willingness to engage with new IPs, is a perfect match for our wolfpack," said Tomasz Tinc, Rebel Wolves' chief publishing officer, in the press release. "Not only does it share our values, but also its track record in publishing narrative-driven RPGs speaks for itself. We're excited to collaborate with them to bring the first chapter of the Dawnwalker saga to gamers worldwide."
Bandai Namco views Dawnwalker as a valuable addition to its game portfolio. Alberto Gonzalez Lorca, VP of business development, commented, "This is another key milestone in our content development strategy for the Western market. By combining our strengths, we will deliver this first game of the studio to a worldwide audience."

Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, a veteran from CD Projekt Red who joined Rebel Wolves early this year, serves as the studio's creative director. Jakub Szamalek, co-founder and narrative director at Rebel Wolves, who spent over 9 years as a writer at CDPR, confirmed that Dawnwalker is the foundation of a new franchise. The game aims to match the scope of The Witcher 3's Blood and Wine expansion while offering a more non-linear narrative.
"We aim to deliver an experience that will allow for a variety of choices and room for experimentation when replayed. Helping craft this experience with so many talented people will be my mission at Rebel Wolves, and I can’t wait for everyone to see what the team has been up to for quite a while now," Tomaszkiewicz stated earlier in the year.
