Black Desert is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and Pearl Abyss is commemorating the occasion with a special 10th Anniversary Vinyl Album collection. This unique, somewhat nostalgic release is also a welcome surprise. In partnership with Black Screen Records, they've created a limited edition 3xLP vinyl set that honors a decade of the game's iconic soundtrack.
The album features a thoughtfully selected lineup of compositions by Hwiman Ryu and his team, spanning genres from jazz and ethnic fusion to alternative rock. For anyone who has played Black Desert, the music is integral to defining the game's immersive atmosphere.
Hwiman Ryu, the Head of Audio at Pearl Abyss, aptly noted that listening to a vinyl record allows you to experience an entire side as one unified piece. That is precisely the feeling this collection aims to evoke. The tracks are arranged to transition smoothly into one another, crafting an experience that goes beyond simple background listening.
The album's packaging is also impressive. The sleeves feature intricate designs that resemble collectible art prints more than traditional record covers. The artwork will bring to mind the most significant updates and expansions in Black Desert's history.
Shipping for the Black Desert 10th Anniversary Vinyl Album set begins in August. You can pre-order your copy now on the official Black Screen Records website for $65. It's also available through the IGN Store, Light in the Attic, Amazon, and various other retailers.
Black Desert is Pearl Abyss's open-world MMORPG, renowned for its cutting-edge graphics and action-oriented combat. The game provides extensive character customization, giving you full control over the smallest details of your avatar's look. You can also play the mobile version, available on the Google Play Store.
