Brok the InvestiGator, the action-adventure game starring a certain reptilian detective, is getting a festive visual novel spin-off! This free, hour-long prequel, Brok Natal Tail Christmas, offers a heartwarming Christmas story (or should that be "tail"?).
The game follows Graff and Ott as they navigate a twisted version of Christmas, "Natal Untail," in their world of Atlasia. Despite the corruption, they manage to find genuine Christmas cheer, with a little help from Brok himself.
Don't expect the usual beat 'em up action; this is a departure into a new genre for developer Cowcat, showcasing their new Brokvn Engine. While short, it's a free gift for fans and a commendable foray into visual novel territory.
A Point-and-Click Christmas Treat
Given its free nature and brevity, criticizing the length feels unfair. Cowcat's willingness to explore a new genre is admirable, offering a refreshing change of pace.
There's little risk in trying Brok Natal Tail Christmas. Unless you actively dislike visual novels, there's no reason not to experience this unique holiday adventure.
