Civilization VII: A Roadmap to Global Domination

Civilization VII's launch is imminent, with a release date set for February 11th. Deluxe and Founders Edition owners gain five days early access, starting February 6th. A day-one patch will also be available. The game will be available across all major platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, including Steam Deck compatibility.

Firaxis Games and 2K have declared the game "gold," signifying the completion of primary development and a commitment to the release date barring unforeseen issues. The developers are committed to post-launch support, expanding the Civilization VII experience significantly.

The first DLC, "Crossroads of the World," arrives in two parts this March. Part one introduces Great Britain and Carthage as playable civilizations, along with the new leader Ada Lovelace. Part two, launching three weeks later, adds Simon Bolivar as a leader and Bulgaria and Nepal as new civilizations.

Further expansion is planned with "Right to Rule," a DLC scheduled for release in Q2 or Q3 2025 (April-September). This DLC will include two additional leaders, four new civilizations, and new natural wonders.

March will also see the addition of new in-game events and natural wonders, including the Bermuda Triangle and Mount Everest. Firaxis promises ongoing enhancements and challenges to keep the gameplay fresh and engaging.
