How To Find the Plasma Burst Laser in Fortnite
The Plasma Burst Laser, a new addition to the Lawless season, is essential for breaking into Vaults across the map. As an Epic item, it's not easy to find, but your best bet is to search Points of Interest (POIs) with Vaults, like Crime City, which is packed with Go Bags and Chests. Alternatively, you can purchase the Plasma Burst Laser at two Black Markets for 600 Gold each. The Black Market south of Seaport City is an option, but the one near Magic Mosses is more convenient, especially since the next challenge requires you to return to Joss' lab to analyze the mineral samples.

How To Collect Mineral Samples Using the Plasma Burst Laser on Stone Structures in Fortnite
Once you've acquired the Plasma Burst Laser, your next task is to find a suitable stone structure. Not just any stone will suffice; you need a piece that can be destroyed. The Escapist's attempts on permanent stone structures were fruitless, indicating that you need to target a breakable stone. Use your Pickaxe to identify such a structure.
With your target in sight, aim the Plasma Burst Laser at the stone and fire away. The stone will eventually shatter, but don't expect the mineral samples to appear in your inventory automatically. Instead, a small piece of rock will drop to the ground. You must interact with this rock to collect the mineral samples and complete the Quest.
After collecting the samples, you won't have to travel far to reach Joss' lab. The game will guide you to the exact location inside the lab where you need to go. Once there, interact with the designated spot to analyze the samples, earning you additional XP and completing the Wanted: Joss Outlaw Quests. You can then return to regular *Fortnite* gameplay and flaunt your newly unlocked items.
