Critical Role Campaign 3 Climax Delayed by Wildfires

Due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, Critical Role has postponed this week's episode of Campaign 3. The impact on the cast, crew, and community has necessitated this delay. While a return on January 16th is hoped for, further postponements remain a possibility.

Campaign 3 is nearing its thrilling conclusion, with the recent episode ending on a significant cliffhanger. The exact episode count remaining is unknown, but the finale is imminent. Following Campaign 3, Critical Role may launch a new campaign using their Daggerheart TTRPG system.

The January 9th stream cancellation was announced due to the wildfire's direct impact. Several cast and crew members experienced significant personal losses, including the loss of a home and belongings. Thankfully, all are safe. Matt Mercer and Marisha Ray evacuated with their dog, while Dani Carr narrowly avoided the worst of the fires. Kyle Shire unfortunately lost his home but escaped safely with his pets.

While a one-week delay is the current plan, further postponements are understandable given the ongoing situation. The Critical Role community is encouraged to be patient and offer support to those affected.

The Critical Role Foundation is actively contributing to wildfire relief, donating $30,000 to the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund. This demonstrates the show's commitment to its community, embodying its motto: "Don't forget to love each other."
