The Crunchyroll Games Vault is expanding with two exciting new additions: the visual novel Destiny's Princess: A War Story, A Love Story, and the action RPG Ys I Chronicles. These cult classic titles are now available on mobile.
Destiny's Princess: A War Story, A Love Story makes its mobile debut, offering a captivating visual novel experience set in ancient Japan. Players lead their kingdom to victory as a princess, navigating complex relationships along the way.
Ys I Chronicles, a remake of the classic Ancient Ys Vanished: Omen, delivers hack-and-slash action RPG gameplay. Players take on the role of Adol Christin, a heroic swordsman, on a quest to free the land of Esteria from demonic forces.
Crunchyroll's Games Vault cleverly caters to its niche audience of anime and manga fans. Unlike other platforms that balance mainstream and indie titles, Crunchyroll focuses on bringing often-overlooked cult classics to a Western audience, many for the first time on mobile. This strategy successfully introduces players to unique and unusual games. Recent additions like Steins;Gate and Ao Oni demonstrate this approach.
The Vault's catalog has significantly grown since previous reports of limited offerings. This expansion provides greater value for players and makes it a more attractive option.
