Counter-Strike于6月19日庆祝其25周年，标志着其在FPS粉丝中长盛不衰的人气。其最新版本Counter-Strike 2每月拥有近2500万玩家。尽管FPS游戏竞争激烈，但Valve对Counter-Strike系列的投入使游戏蓬勃发展。
