Dark Dome Launches Intriguing New Puzzle Adventure

Dark Dome introduces its ninth title, a captivating addition to its lineup of escape and mystery games like The Girl in the Window, Beyond the Room, and Escape from the Shadows. Hidden Memories immerses players in a gripping, unsettling narrative.

Now available on Android after its late March reveal, the game retains Dark Dome’s classic point-and-click escape format, infused with a deeper psychological edge. It also features subtle cameos from the Dark Dome universe.

Lucian’s Enigmatic Journey

Lucian awakens in an unfamiliar place, his memory erased, surrounded by cryptic puzzles. Players must unravel a mind haunted by something more sinister than mere amnesia.

As Lucian pieces together the night he can’t recall, fragmented memories surface. A mysterious girl appears repeatedly in these glimpses—she could be the key to his escape or the cause of his confinement.

Hidden Town, the game’s setting, is a labyrinth of guilt, secrets, and eerie encounters, instantly recognizable to fans of Dark Dome’s previous works.

Gameplay focuses on exploration and clever deduction. Tap, search, and combine items, but expect unconventional puzzles. For instance, a firework rocket paired with adhesive tape proves surprisingly useful, while a brush, ink, and a tiny soccer ball transform into a makeshift false eye.

Eerie Side Quests Await

Players must hunt for 10 hidden shadows scattered throughout the game, elusive figures visible only to those who scrutinize the backgrounds.

Voodoo dolls also appear along the way, each linked to a restless soul. Engaging mini-games reveal their final moments and secrets, sometimes requiring players to resolve unfinished business to help them move on.

The game weaves in references to earlier titles. Delian makes a second appearance, Dr. Freyer’s name appears on an ID card, and the four-armed statue from Escape from the Shadows’ catacombs reappears. Even the medallion earned from solving the picture puzzle echoes Nowhere House.
