But this isn't just a simple Item Shop appearance; Godzilla will be a playable character in Battle Royale, with one lucky player per match getting to control the iconic kaiju. Starting January 17th, 2025, Godzilla invades Fortnite Chapter 6. To gain a monstrous advantage, you'll need a little luck. A rift will randomly appear on the Battle Royale island each game. Be the first to find and jump into it, and you'll transform into Godzilla himself!
Once transformed, unleash Godzilla's devastating powers: the Roar to locate nearby players, the Mighty Stomp Attack to send them flying, and the powerful Heat Ray to inflict massive damage. However, be warned: the entire lobby will be gunning for you!
If you weren't lucky enough to become Godzilla, get ready for an epic battle! Epic Games has strategically placed weak points on Godzilla. Hitting these weak points will cause Godzilla's Fragments to drop, providing 40 health and three dash charges – crucial for mobility during this intense fight.
The Rail Gun has been unvaulted for this event, offering a powerful weapon to quickly deal significant damage. High-rarity weapons are also highly effective. Focus on dealing as much damage as possible, as the player who inflicts the most damage on Godzilla will be rewarded with the Godzilla Medallion (featuring a dash ability) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher.
Even if you don't become Godzilla, defeating him is a rewarding challenge. You'll earn bragging rights and some awesome loot!
