Delta Force Game: Release Date Revealed

PC Alpha Went Live on August 6, 2024!

The Delta Force PC Alpha Test kicked off at around Aug 5, 9 p.m. EDT / 6 p.m. PDT, providing eager fans with their first taste of the game. However, the developers announced on August 30 that the Alpha Test would close on September 8, or Sept 7, 8 p.m. EDT / 5 p.m. PDT for those in the United States.

Gamers had several opportunities to join the Alpha Test, including:

• Watching Delta Force Twitch Streams to earn Twitch Drops

Additionally, the official Twitter/X account frequently offered Alpha Test codes during special events and milestones.

July 24 Update: New Alpha Test Date Announced

Delta Force thrilled fans by announcing a rescheduled Alpha Test for August 6, 2024! Participants could secure their spot via the official website, the Steam page, or by snagging keys through Twitch drops and giveaways. One notable giveaway on their Twitter/X account saw 100 lucky fans receiving codes for the Alpha test.

July 16 Update: Alpha Test Postponed

Following a pre-alpha test from July 11 - 15, the developers identified several critical issues that disrupted gameplay for the limited number of players involved. As a result, they had to postpone the July Alpha test to focus on improving the game, ensuring players would have "the best experience possible."

Initially Scheduled Alpha Test

Originally, Delta Force planned to launch its Alpha Test on July 18, without a specified end date. Enthusiasts could seek access through various channels:

• The official website, where they could fill out player surveys
• The official Steam page, where they could request access
• Twitch.tv streams, where viewers could receive Steam keys as Twitch Drops

A pre-alpha test ran from July 11 to 15, serving as a stress test and allowing a select group of players early access. Engaging with all available avenues increased the chances of gaining early entry.

The Alpha Test was exclusively for PC players, accessible either through the game's official client or via Steam. Note that access to one platform did not guarantee access to the other, as cross-progression was not available during the alpha phase.
