Destiny 2 players are gearing up to choose their favorite spooky armor sets for the upcoming Festival of the Lost event. Bungie has unveiled two competing styles: Slashers and Spectres, each drawing inspiration from iconic horror figures. This year's event pits Jason Voorhees and Ghostface against the Babadook and La Llorona, with unique Warlock sets completing each team.

The Slasher theme features Titan armor reminiscent of Jason, Hunter armor echoing Ghostface, and a menacing Scarecrow Warlock set. The Spectre theme offers a Babadook-inspired Titan set, a La Llorona-themed Hunter set, and a highly anticipated Slenderman Warlock set. Players will vote to determine which collection becomes available in October. Interestingly, the Wizard armor set, the losing choice from the 2024 event, will be made available during Episode Heresy.

While the announcement generated excitement for the Halloween event, it also highlighted existing tensions within the Destiny 2 community. Many players expressed frustration over ongoing bugs and a perceived decline in player engagement and overall game health during Episode Revenant.
