Get ready for an epic crossover that nobody saw coming: the Diablo franchise is teaming up with the legendary anime series, Berserk. Announced via a thrilling teaser trailer on April 18 across the official Twitter (X) accounts of both Diablo and Diablo Immortal, this collaboration promises to bring the dark, gritty world of Berserk into the demonic realms of Diablo. The teaser showcases a Barbarian donning the iconic armor of Berserk's protagonist, Guts, and wielding his famed Dragon Slayer sword to battle demons, hinting at an immersive crossover experience.
While specifics on which Diablo games will feature the crossover remain under wraps, it's clear that both Diablo IV and Diablo Immortal will be part of this exciting event. Fans can anticipate a range of cash shop cosmetics and costumes, drawing from the precedent set by the Diablo and World of Warcraft crossover last year. This fusion of dark fantasy elements from both universes is sure to captivate fans of both series.
In addition to the crossover announcement, Diablo shared details about an upcoming developer update livestream scheduled for April 24 at 11 AM PDT / 6 PM UTC. The livestream will be broadcast across Diablo's official channels on Twitch, YouTube, X, and TikTok. This event will offer a sneak peek at Season 8: Belial’s Return, promising new content and updates for Diablo IV players.
The livestream will conclude with a live Q&A session, giving players a direct line to the developers to discuss their thoughts and concerns. Following the stream, fans are invited to join Diablo's first-ever Sanctuary Sitdown on their Discord channel, offering a space to dive deeper into all things Diablo, including the much-anticipated Diablo x Berserk collaboration.
With Berserk's dark fantasy themes seamlessly blending with Diablo's aesthetic, this collaboration is shaping up to be a must-see event for fans. Diablo IV is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
