Disney Dreamlight Valley: Crafting Lightning Bolt Guide

Energy management is crucial in Gameloft’s Disney Dreamlight Valley. Every activity, from digging to mining or fishing, consumes your energy. Running out means you'll be sidelined, unable to engage in much activity. Fortunately, replenishing your energy is as simple as enjoying a meal, and one of the top choices for energy restoration is the Lightning Bolt.

While the Lightning Bolt recipe isn’t the easiest to prepare due to its rare ingredients, this guide will help you gather everything you need to make it.

Lightning Bolt Recipe in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To whip up a Lightning Bolt, you'll need:

• Stygian Mudskipper
• Lamprey
• Two Lightning Spice
• Any Sweet

Getting Stygian Mudskipper in DDV

The Stygian Mudskipper is found in the new Mythopia biome within Storybook Vale. This area is initially locked and requires 2,000 Story Magic to unlock, similar to previous biomes in the A Rift in Time DLC. Once you're in Mythopia, search for golden ripples in the water. As a rare fish, catching a Stygian Mudskipper may require some patience.

Getting Lamprey in DDV

For the Lamprey, you'll need to visit the Everafter biome, which you can unlock by giving Merida 2,000 Story Magic. Inside Everafter, keep an eye out for golden ripples in the water. Like the Stygian Mudskipper, Lamprey is a rare catch, so you might need several attempts to secure one.

How to Get Lightning Spice in DDV

Lightning Spice can also be found in Mythopia. After catching your Stygian Mudskipper, look around for Lightning Spice on the ground. Interact with it to harvest; each interaction yields one Lightning Spice, and you'll need two for the Lightning Bolt recipe.

How to Get a Sweet Ingredient for Lightning Bolt

You have several sweet options to choose from for your Lightning Bolt:

• Agave
• Pink and Blue Marshmallows
• Vanilla
• Sugarcane
• Cocoa Bean

Once you've gathered all the ingredients, head to a cooking station. Combine all five ingredients in the cooking pot, and don't forget to add a piece of coal, which you can obtain by mining in nearly any biome, to cook your Lightning Bolt.

The Lightning Bolt can be sold at Goofy’s Stall for a hefty 5,038 Star Coins, or you can consume it to restore a whopping 5,000 energy points.
