Ravensburger has revealed exciting new developments for Disney Lorcana's future, announcing that the ninth card set - Fabled - will launch on September 5, 2025. This milestone release will introduce the game's first-ever Iconic and Epic rarity cards, along with the highly anticipated inclusion of A Goofy Movie characters.
The announcement also provided comprehensive details about the eighth set Reign of Jafar (coming June 6), unveiled a new Collection Starter Set, shared World Championship information, and teased Darkwing Duck's eventual inclusion.
While full details remain under wraps, early reveals about Fabled have generated tremendous anticipation ahead of its August 29 pre-release. The most significant addition will be characters from A Goofy Movie, though specific cards haven't been confirmed yet.
The set debuts two groundbreaking card rarities:
- Iconic Cards (the rarest in Lorcana history, limited to two per set)
- Epic Cards (scarcity between Legendary and Enchanted rarities)
