Eko Software and NACON have released a demo and detailed roadmap for the early access launch of their action RPG, Dragonkin: The Banished. This early access version includes the prologue and first chapter, letting players experience the story through three unique heroes: the Knight, the Oracle, and the Barbarian. Also included are four Vermplings—cooperative companions—the innovative Bloodline Grid skill system, endgame hunting quests, and initial hub city upgrades. The demo is available now until March 3, 2025, as part of Steam Next Fest.
The developers have big plans for the coming year. Spring updates will add new abilities, enhanced endgame content, a new endgame activity, and improved hub city features. Summer will bring a new hero, more skills, and expanded endgame challenges. By autumn, multiplayer support will arrive, along with further refinements to the Bloodline Grid and hub city.
In Dragonkin: The Banished, players explore a world corrupted by ancient dragon blood. Players guide a legendary warrior to defeat monstrous creatures rising from the earth and confront the powerful Dragonlords behind the chaos. Character growth, equipment upgrades, and Vermpling evolution drive progression, while the strategic Bloodline Grid lets players customize their abilities.
Dragonkin: The Banished enters Steam Early Access on March 6, 2025, with a full release planned for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
