Elden Ring's renowned player, Let Me Solo Her, shifts focus from Malenia to the challenging Shadow of the Erdtree boss, Messmer the Impaler. This celebrated YouTuber, known for assisting countless players in conquering Malenia since Elden Ring's 2022 launch, is now lending his expertise to Messmer.
Malenia, Blade of Miquella, was long considered Elden Ring's most formidable boss. However, the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC introduces Messmer the Impaler, a boss deemed equally challenging, and unlike Malenia, a mandatory encounter for story progression, posing a significant hurdle for solo players.
Fortunately, Let Me Solo Her (Klein Tsuboi online) is providing assistance, streaming his Messmer defeats on YouTube. Recent streams and a video titled "Let me solo him" confirm his transition from Malenia, a retirement hinted at in February, prior to the DLC's release. His "Final Malenia soloing stream" marked the end of his Malenia-focused efforts.
Maintaining his signature style, Let Me Solo Her tackles Messmer armed with only two katanas, a jar helmet, and a loincloth, consistently inflicting substantial damage. His Malenia battles reportedly number over 6,000 since Elden Ring's release. Following the Shadow of the Erdtree announcement, he expressed anticipation for the challenging DLC and its red-haired boss.
Negative feedback regarding the DLC's difficulty, with some players advising against purchase, prompted FromSoftware to release an update aimed at improving overall accessibility. Bandai Namco also suggested leveling up the Scadutree Blessing to aid in defeating the new bosses. However, for those still struggling, the chance of encountering Let Me Solo Her in co-op offers a welcome solution to the formidable Messmer the Impaler.
