Emperor's Children Debut in Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge

May 26,2025 Author: Ellie

If your favorite film series is Hellraiser and you enjoy a bit of ironic naming, you're in for a treat with the latest addition to Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge. The newest faction to join the fray is none other than the Emperor's Children, a Slaanesh-heavy group that promises to bring a new level of suffering to your gameplay experience.

Once a loyalist Space Marine legion, the Emperor's Children broke away from the Imperium during the Horus Heresy. Now, they pledge their allegiance solely to the chaos god Slaanesh and their own desires, splintering into warbands that scour the galaxy in search of new sensations and stimulation.

With the introduction of the Emperor's Children, you'll have three new warlords to choose from, each offering a distinct playstyle. Lord Kaphrael leads the Callous Blades and specializes in eliminating enemy champions. Xarahan, on the other hand, embodies the arrogance and egotism that define the Emperor's Children. And for those who appreciate a touch of immortality, Lucius the Eternal brings his millennia-honed swordsmanship to the battlefield.

Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge - Emperor's Children Faction**I see you tremble with antici-pation** The Emperor's Children introduce some truly unsettling mechanics to the game. Units with the Ecstasy trait activate an effect when their health drops to a certain level, while those marked with Cruelty gain benefits if you damage, but don't destroy, an enemy unit. The Stimulation mechanic triggers an ability when the unit is targeted by stratagems. Additionally, Combat Elixirs cause certain cards to generate extra stratagems, enhancing their abilities!

Get ready to torment your foes, as the Emperor's Children will be available in new booster packs and DLC starting now. Dive into the chaos and experience their new abilities and units firsthand.

If this might be a bit too intense for you, don't worry. Check out our latest list of the top five new mobile games to try this week for some alternative options to keep you entertained and stimulated.
