Marvel Contest of Champions is set to roll out a thrilling lineup of content in April, headlined by the introduction of the new champion, Spider-Woman. Jessica Drew, known as Spider-Woman, brings a unique backstory to the game. Born in an area affected by uranium, her father, a brilliant geneticist, used spider DNA to cure her resulting illness. After overcoming the initial side effects, Jessica emerged with spider-like abilities, becoming the formidable Spider-Woman. Players can look forward to adding her to their roster starting April 17th.
Before Spider-Woman's arrival, another champion, Lumatrix, will make his debut on April 9th. As one of the deadliest assassins created by the Founders, Lumatrix uses his dazzling light powers to infiltrate and eliminate targets, adding a thrilling new dynamic to the game.
In terms of story developments, Act 9 Chapter 2, titled "Inquisition," introduces new challenges with Carina suffering injuries from encounters with Ouroborus forces. Meanwhile, Doctor Doom collaborates with the Fantastic Four amidst the spread of Chronoserpent corruption and the emergence of a new villain, Lotan.
Gamers can dive into the new Event Quest, "Spy Games," starting April 9th and running through May 7th. This quest sees Black Widow investigating the mysterious Eidols, with Spider-Woman joining the fray to unravel the mystery.
Dark Phoenix returns in the Side Quest "Dark Bounties," challenging players to hunt down champions targeted by her bounty for lucrative rewards. Additionally, the Incursions: Dark Phoenix Saga Sector makes a comeback, offering players the chance to earn Dark Plumes, Light Essence, Tier 7 Basic Fragments, and 7-Star Class Signature Stones by deploying their strongest Saga champions.
Beyond these major updates, Marvel Contest of Champions also features the Heart of Fire Sale, providing even more reasons to engage with the game. Players can download Marvel Contest of Champions from the Google Play Store to experience all the new content and events.
