In Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge, the narrative takes a dark turn with the introduction of the Emperor’s Children. Originally loyal to the Imperium, they defected during the Horus Heresy to serve Slaanesh, the Chaos god of excess and indulgence.
The Emperor’s Children faction features three distinct warlords. Lord Kaphrael, a specialist in eliminating enemy champions, commands the Callous Blades warband. Xarahan embodies arrogance, while Lucius the Eternal brings his centuries of dueling expertise to the battlefield.
Their gameplay mechanics reflect their chaotic nature. Cards marked with Ecstasy trigger effects when their health reaches specific thresholds. Cruelty rewards players for damaging foes without finishing them off. Stimulation activates when a unit is targeted by a stratagem, and Combat Elixirs generate additional stratagems to enhance the faction's twisted strategies.
