Every year, Final Fantasy XIV delights players with a holiday-themed event to spread festive cheer, and the Starlight Celebration 2024 is no exception. Here's a comprehensive guide to everything you need to know about this year's celebration in FFXIV.
The Starlight Celebration 2024 event in FFXIV is scheduled to run from December 16 to December 31, concluding at 6:59 a.m. Pacific Time. This gives you approximately two weeks to engage with the event and secure all the rewards. Fortunately, these seasonal quests are typically quick to complete, often taking no more than an hour. With this timeframe, participating should be a breeze for most FFXIV enthusiasts.
To join in the festivities, ensure you have a combat job at least at level 15 and have completed the Envoy quests in your starting city, which are part of the A Realm Reborn Main Scenario Quest (MSQ). Once these prerequisites are met, make your way to Old Gridania and find the NPC Amh Garanjy at coordinates X:10.2, Y:9.4. Speaking with Amh Garanjy will initiate the quest "Cold Skies, Warm Hearts." Just follow the quest markers and complete the objectives to enjoy the event.
The Starlight Celebration 2024 offers a delightful array of rewards to enhance your in-game experience:
These rewards are primarily cosmetic and perfect for decorating your apartment. Remember, these exclusive items will no longer be available once the event concludes, so make sure to claim them before the deadline.
That wraps up everything you need to know about the Starlight Celebration 2024 in FFXIV. For more tips and updates on the game, including details on the Dawntrail patch release schedule and our thoughts on the Echoes of Vana’diel Alliance Raid, keep an eye on The Escapist.
