Fortnite's continuous introduction of new skins each season has sparked excitement among fans, who are now creating wishlists for the anticipated 2025 cosmetics. Notable collaborations in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1, such as Godzilla and Big Hero 6, have set the stage for more exciting additions throughout the year.
Since its launch, Fortnite has skyrocketed in popularity, thanks to innovative gameplay and high-profile streamers like Ninja. With each new season, the game introduces fresh content, including collaborative cosmetics with major franchises like Star Wars, DC and Marvel Comics, Dragon Ball Z, the NFL, Street Fighter, The Walking Dead, and more. These collaborations join the ranks of Fortnite-original skins such as Renegade Raider, Jonesy, Peely, and Fishstick, offering players a diverse array of characters to choose from. Enthusiasts have already started curating their wishlists for the 2025 skins.
Reddit user Ihatesmartcars2 shared their vision for ideal Fortnite skins for 2025, showcasing characters from various universes, including Marvel, Star Wars, and Valve games. The list also features characters from One Piece and Five Nights at Freddy's, two franchises rumored to be potential additions to Fortnite for some time. A Tyler the Creator Icon Series skin, featuring the rapper's IGOR persona with a blonde bowl-cut wig, was also highlighted. Fans expressed enthusiasm for this skin and suggested additional variants and a Fortnite Festival concert.
Given Epic Games' practice of soliciting community feedback through surveys, some of these proposed skins could become a reality. Beyond Ihatesmartcars2's list, other Reddit users suggested additional characters, including more from Star Wars and DC Comics, as well as Jesse, Saul, and Mike from Breaking Bad, the rest of the DC Comics Robin characters, and Wednesday Addams. While Star Wars, DC, and Marvel skins have a strong precedent, some fans noted that collaborations with Rockstar Games and Valve might be less likely due to their respective policies.
As Fortnite evolves with each update, new cosmetics are continually added, enhancing the game's appeal. The introduction of Kicks shoes has expanded the possibilities for future cosmetics, suggesting that 2025 could bring even more innovative additions to the Locker slots.
