Fortnite x Monsterverse: Boss Fights, Mechagodzilla, Kong Revealed

The much-anticipated Godzilla skin in Fortnite is set to debut on January 17, and fans are buzzing with excitement. A recent leak has unveiled all the details about the collaboration with Monsterverse, giving players a sneak peek at what's to come. Epic Games has already rolled out an update containing the content that will unlock on January 17, which dataminers have eagerly explored. Alongside the standard Godzilla skin available through the battle pass, players can also look forward to acquiring Mechagodzilla and Kong skins from the in-game store. These sets will come with unique jet packs and pickaxes tailored specifically for each character, enhancing the immersive Monsterverse experience in Fortnite.

Adding to the excitement, Fortnite will introduce a new boss event on the same day. In this event, one player on the map will transform into a colossal Godzilla, wielding its iconic atomic breath among other powerful abilities. Players must band together to take down this formidable foe. The player who inflicts the most damage on Godzilla throughout the battle will be rewarded with a special medallion featuring a unique ability, adding a competitive edge to the event.

Monsterverse Skins and Prices in the Fortnite Store

The set featuring Mechagodzilla and Kong will be available in the Fortnite store at the usual time, with the following pricing:

  • Kong: 1500 V-bucks
  • Mechagodzilla: 1800 V-bucks
  • Two pickaxes: 800 V-bucks each
  • One Emote: 400 V-bucks
  • Two Wraps: 500 V-bucks each
  • Complete Set: 2800 V-bucks

Beyond the Monsterverse collaboration, Fortnite continues to attract a diverse array of performers and artists. Rumors are swirling that the beloved Vocaloid, Hatsune Miku, may soon grace the game. Recent social media exchanges between the Hatsune Miku and Fortnite Festival accounts hint at a possible crossover. The Fortnite Festival account playfully mentioned possessing Miku's missing backpack, sparking speculation about an upcoming event. Players can expect to see a range of Hatsune Miku-themed items, including a basic Vocaloid skin, a "Miku the Catgirl" variant, a stylized pickaxe, and even a virtual concert featuring the iconic character.
