Garena Free Fire's debut at the Esports World Cup is just around the corner, scheduled to kick off on Wednesday, July 14th. The event, aptly named Esports World Cup: Free Fire, will be hosted in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of the country's ambitious efforts to position itself as the new gaming capital of the world. This tournament is a spinoff of the well-known Gamers8 event, and while Saudi Arabia is investing heavily to make this a reality, the success of this venture remains to be seen.
The Garena Free Fire tournament will unfold over three stages. Initially, 18 teams will compete, with the field being narrowed down to the top 12 during the knockout stage, which runs from July 10th to the 12th. Following this, the Points Rush Stage on July 13th will allow teams to gain an advantage before the Grand Finals commence on July 14th.
