Contrary to what the name might suggest, Goatskin is not actually the skin of a, well, goat. Instead, it's a character you need to find as part of the main story in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. Here's how to locate Goatskin during the quest titled Into the Underworld.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 - Goatskin Location
During the main quest Into the Underworld in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, your mission will lead you to Kutternberg to find a man named Goatskin. Katherine directs you to search for him at the inn, but finding him involves navigating through several challenges to corner him effectively.
If you're looking to skip the hassle, here’s a straightforward guide:

Goatskin can be found at the top of the barn adjacent to the Black Horse tavern. To reach him, enter the barn located behind the tailor’s shop and climb the ladder. Keep in mind that this area is private, so discretion is crucial.

Once on the upper floor of the barn, proceed straight and drop down into a courtyard. From there, climb onto the carriage and enter through the window into another barn.
Navigate to the top of this barn, and you will find Goatskin. It's important to do this during the day, as Goatskin relocates at night. I also recommend saving your game before initiating conversation with him, as you will face several dialogue checks. Failing these could mean having to pay to move forward with the quest.
If you're not confident in passing the skill checks, you can opt to pay 150 groschen to progress. However, if you fail the checks, the cost rises to 500 groschen, which is a significant amount of money.
And that's how you find Goatskin in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more tips and information on the game, including romance options and the best perks to prioritize, be sure to visit The Escapist.
