After a much-anticipated delay earlier this year, Grand Outlaws has finally made its soft launch in the US. Hardbit Studio announced that the open-world mobile shooter is now available on Google Play for Android users starting May 15th. Players outside the US will need to wait a bit longer for the worldwide rollout.
The extra development time was well-spent, according to the developers. They've expanded the game's locations, enhanced performance, and added more content, ensuring a more robust and stable experience for players as the game moves towards its full release later this year.
At its soft launch, Grand Outlaws offers three exciting core modes: Battle Royale, Racing, and Deathmatch. Designed for fast-paced action, these modes come with user-friendly mobile controls and easy access to weapons, vehicles, and customizations. Players can seamlessly switch between modes or explore the open world at their leisure.

Currently, the game is only available on Android, but Hardbit has a clear multi-platform roadmap ahead. A full release on Android and the Epic Store is scheduled for July or August, with iOS and PC versions via Steam and Epic slated for October. Console versions for PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch are set to launch in 2026, and the team is working on enabling cross-platform play.
Looking forward, Hardbit Studio plans to enrich the game with new modes like Heists and Destruction Derby, alongside live events, a cinematic story mode, and more customization options for characters and hideouts. There's also talk of brand collaborations and seasonal content updates.
