After a two-year wait, Grand Theft Auto V on PC will finally receive a major update aligning it with console versions on March 4. This free update introduces features from the 2022 PS5 and Xbox Series releases, with automatic progress transfer for both GTA Online and Story Mode players.
The PC update delivers substantial GTA Online improvements, including previously console-exclusive content. Rockstar Games is also introducing the GTA+ subscription service to PC, offering benefits like accelerated business profits. The developers have simultaneously strengthened anti-cheat measures for fairer gameplay.
While the update brings enhanced graphics, it also raises system requirements. Players with older hardware can continue using the current edition, which will remain supported. Note that cross-version multiplayer won't be available—players must use the same game version to play together.
