Hearthstone's Year of the Raptor is here, bringing a revitalized competitive scene and exciting new content! This year features a fresh expansion cycle, a Core Set overhaul, and the return of esports.

The first expansion, Into the Emerald Dream, launches soon, preceded by a special pre-release event. A stunning new Year of the Raptor game board boasts updated visuals and audio.

Hearthstone Esports is back in a big way! 2025 will see two Seasonal Championships and a World Championship, boasting a minimum $600,000 prize pool in partnership with Netease Thunderfire. Expect more details on the competitive format and rules soon.

A significant Arena update is slated for Patch 32.2, following Into the Emerald Dream. This update promises a streamlined drafting experience and a fresh take on the Arena mode. Patch 32.2 will also include a Battlegrounds Seasonal Update and the Into the Emerald Dream Mini-Set—arriving a patch earlier than usual.

This altered patch schedule is a strategic adjustment to optimize development and content release. The Into the Emerald Dream expansion maintains its standard structure, including all planned updates and events. The regular patch schedule resumes with Patch 33.0 after Patch 32.4.
