A recent SteamDB update for Hollow Knight: Silksong has sent eager fans into a speculative frenzy. Could this signal an imminent reveal?

This sparked widespread speculation among players, with many wondering if a reveal is near. Could Summer Game Fest bring news? Might it feature at the Xbox Showcase? Or could a Nintendo Switch 2 shadow drop be in the works?

Team Cherry’s sequel remains one of the most anticipated games globally, dominating Steam’s wishlist charts for years. Silksong briefly appeared at Nintendo’s Switch 2 Direct in April, with Team Cherry later confirming a 2025 release window, easing the minds of patient fans. With playable demos set for Australia’s ACMI museum starting September 18, some speculate a launch could come sooner—though nothing is confirmed yet.
IGN recently shared an exclusive Silksong sprite sheet, sending the internet into a frenzy.
