Huntbound: Android's New 2D Co-Op RPG Launches
Jan 18,2026Author: Lily
Huntbound is a new cooperative Android game where you can team up with other players to hunt monsters and craft gear. You'll face off against massive mythical beasts, harvesting materials from their remains. Developed by Tao Team, the game features real-time combat and an arsenal of incredibly powerful weapons.
Huntbound Will Remind You of…
You’ve probably already guessed—the name itself gives it away. The game captures that classic Monster Hunter excitement, where you track creatures, learn their behaviors, and devise the perfect strategy to defeat them before they defeat you.
The main difference lies in the art style. While Monster Hunter leans into realistic 3D visuals, Huntbound embraces a vibrant 2D aesthetic. In fact, its charming presentation may make it feel more like a lighthearted 2D adventure than a traditional action RPG.

The Highlight Is the Co-Op Feature
While you can play solo, the real standout is the co-op mode. Join up to three other hunters in multiplayer, form a squad, plan your tactics, and celebrate victories together.
As in any monster-hunting adventure, each win in Huntbound rewards you with valuable loot. Look out for rare ingredients, improved weapons, and armour upgrades to take on even greater challenges.
Huntbound’s world is packed with hidden secrets, resources, and countless customization options—so you can design a hunter that looks as formidable as they fight. This Android exclusive is available now on the Google Play Store.
