While Insomniac has confirmed development, details remain scarce.
Speculation surrounding Spider-Man 3 intensified after its inclusion in a leaked Insomniac game list following Spider-Man 2's PS5 release. Leaks also suggest new character introductions, though a release date is likely years away.
A new job listing for a Senior UX Researcher at Insomniac points towards an early-stage AAA title. The researcher will be based at Insomniac's Burbank UX Lab for three months, contributing to a project already underway.
Spider-Man 3: A Strong Contender
Considering previous leaks, Marvel's Spider-Man 3 is the most likely candidate. Marvel's Wolverine is reportedly progressing well, despite challenges. Rumors of a Venom-centric spin-off to Spider-Man 2, potentially releasing this year, make it less probable that this project is in early development.
