Jurassic World Rebirth roared into the Super Bowl with a new trailer showcasing thrilling dinosaur action ahead of its July 2025 release.
Scarlett Johansson and Mahershala Ali take center stage in this latest sneak peek, though they're quickly overshadowed by a herd of prehistoric creatures, giving viewers a taste of the upcoming spectacle. While similar to the trailer released last week by Universal, this new footage offers a compelling preview of the next chapter in the Jurassic Park saga.
A departure from the recent trilogy, concluding with Jurassic World Dominion in 2022, Jurassic World Rebirth features a new director, Gareth Edwards, known for his work in sci-fi and monster movies. This installment aims to redefine the franchise with fresh characters and a unique narrative. The extent of its connection to previous films remains unclear, but the setting is confirmed to be in the near future.
According to the synopsis: "Five years after Jurassic World Dominion, the planet's ecosystem has become largely uninhabitable for dinosaurs. Surviving populations are confined to isolated equatorial regions with climates mirroring their prehistoric habitats. Three gigantic creatures—land, sea, and air—hold the key, within their DNA, to a revolutionary life-saving drug for humanity."
Further details on the film's place within the franchise are expected before its theatrical release on July 2, 2025. For a complete rundown of all the Super Bowl commercials, check out our comprehensive summary.
