King of Fighters ALLSTAR to End Service in October 2024
Netmarble has announced the unexpected closure of its popular mobile beat 'em up ARPG, King of Fighters ALLSTAR. The game, which has enjoyed a successful six-year run, will officially shut down on October 30th, 2024. In-app purchases have already been disabled.
The announcement, made via the official Netmarble forums, cites a lack of new fighters to adapt from the King of Fighters franchise as a contributing factor to the closure. While this is likely not the sole reason, it offers some insight into the decision. The game's extensive collaborations with other fighting game franchises over the years underscore its longevity and popularity.
