The game has been a phenomenal success, "far exceeding all expectations" by selling 1 million copies within the first day of its launch and now rapidly approaching the 2 million mark.

In their latest press release, Embracer Group highlighted the game's significant popularity on Steam and expressed unwavering confidence in its ongoing success.
"We are thrilled to announce that our medieval RPG, launched just over a week ago, has achieved remarkable success in terms of critical acclaim, player reception, and sales engagement.
The game crossed the 1 million sales mark within 24 hours of release and is now on track to reach 2 million. It has also demonstrated exceptional performance on Steam, with a peak concurrent player count surpassing 250,000.
We are confident that the game will continue to generate substantial revenue in the coming years, a testament to its exceptional quality, immersive gameplay, and widespread appeal among players."
Embracer Group remains optimistic about the future of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, particularly with the developers' roadmap, which includes plans for three story-driven DLCs.
