Following the December 2024 release of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered, Crystal Dynamics and UK-based design studio Lost in Cult have announced exciting new projects for the beloved Legacy of Kain IP: an encyclopedia and a tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG).

The Book of Nosgoth, penned by Nic Reuben of Rock Paper Shotgun, serves as an official encyclopedia for the gothic world of Nosgoth. This comprehensive guide explores Nosgoth's locations, factions, inhabitants, and the epic Kain and Raziel rivalry through a detailed timeline. Beyond the lore, it delves into the games' development, featuring original concept art, sketches, maps, and exclusive developer interviews, providing a rich history of all five Legacy of Kain titles.
Legacy of Kain: Scourge of Sarafan – A New Tabletop RPG
Legacy of Kain: Scourge of Sarafan transports players to Nosgoth during the Sarafan Order's crusade against vampires. Utilizing the MÖRK BORG ruleset, this atmospheric TTRPG offers a mechanics-light, high-stakes experience. Players embody Sarafan warrior priests, choosing from six playable classes, wielding unique weapons and spells, and battling a bestiary of nocturnal horrors across Nosgoth's landscape. The campaign focuses on vampire hunts, uncovering Nosgoth's hidden history, and venturing into the spectral realm.
