Second Life Mobile\'s hotly anticipated public beta is now live!

Second Life, the popular social MMO, is now available in a public beta for iOS and Android devices. Download it from the App Store and Google Play.

Currently, access is limited to Premium subscribers. While free access isn't yet available, this beta release marks a significant step for the mobile version, promising more frequent updates and information.

For those unfamiliar, Second Life is a pioneering MMO emphasizing social interaction rather than combat or exploration. Released in 2003, it's considered a precursor to the metaverse concept, introducing mainstream audiences to social gaming and user-generated content. Players create avatars and live out virtual lives, engaging in diverse activities and role-playing.
