NetEase took to Marvel Rivals' Twitter (X) on April 21 to announce the upcoming release of new skins for Loki and Hela. These skins, titled Loki’s Shin Sagi-Shi and Hela’s Yami no Karasu, draw inspiration from Marvel's Kirisaki Mountains in the Demon Days series by Peach Momoko. This unique comic series reimagines Marvel characters through the lens of Japanese folklore and mythology.
Marvel Rivals has already introduced other skins in this theme, with Peni Parker’s Yatsukahagi being the latest addition. More themed skins are on the horizon, as hinted by their social media updates. Loki and Hela’s new costumes will become available on April 25 at 2:00 UTC. While pricing details haven't been disclosed yet, fans can anticipate these skins to come with special emotes, stickers, and additional perks.
In conjunction with the skin reveal, Marvel Rivals launched Art Vision Vol. 01, a video series where the game's art developers share insights into their creative process. Marvel Rivals Art Director Dino, along with other design experts, delved into the inspirations and foundational elements behind the game's visual design.
To celebrate the launch of Season 2: Hellfire Gala, Marvel Rivals is hosting an engaging online event where players can snag free goodies. The event involves finding welcome signs placed around the new Krakoa Map, striking a pose on them, capturing a screenshot, and then sharing it by retweeting or commenting on the event post.
Ten fortunate winners will receive an exclusive Jeff the Land Shark Hand Fan, and another ten will be awarded special Series 2 Fridge Magnets. The event concludes on April 25, with winners being announced on April 29.
