Season 1 of NetEase Games' Marvel Rivals, "Eternal Night Falls," has launched with a surprise: free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins! This exciting season, running from January 10th to April 11th, 2025, pits the Fantastic Four against Dracula in a New York City showdown.
The Fantastic Four are the stars of this season's roster additions. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are immediately available, with Human Torch and The Thing joining the fray in a mid-season update. Leaks suggest Human Torch will be a Duelist and The Thing a Vanguard class character.
Players can obtain the free Peni Parker (Blue Tarantula skin) and Scarlet Witch (Emporium Matron skin) cosmetics by progressing through the Season 1 battle pass. While the full battle pass costs 990 Lattice (approximately $10), these skins, along with other free rewards, are earnable via quests and Chrono Tokens. Peni Parker's skin is on page three, showcasing a striking blue and white design. Scarlet Witch's crimson and purple Emporium Matron skin is on page nine, and includes a free emote; however, her MVP animation requires the premium battle pass. A separate Midnight Features event offers a free Thor skin.
Beyond the free rewards, the in-game shop features villainous new skins for Invisible Woman (Malice) and Mister Fantastic (The Maker), adding to the season's exciting new content. The overwhelmingly positive fan response reflects the success of this new season.
