For fans of Pokémon Go, Raid Days are always a thrilling event packed with fun and excitement. The latest upcoming event is no exception, as Mega Kangaskhan is set to make a triumphant return! Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 3rd, from 3pm to 5pm local time, and get ready to dive into a whole host of benefits and rewards.
The return of Mega Kangaskhan will be particularly exciting for players, as this Pokémon is typically region-locked. If you've been eager to complete your Kanto Pokédex, this is your golden opportunity! To assist players, the Remote Raid Pass limit will be increased to 20, starting from Saturday the 2nd at 5pm PDT until 8pm on the 3rd.
During the event, you'll also receive five additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Discs, and there's an enhanced chance of encountering a Shiny Kangaskhan during Mega Raids. Whether you're aiming to finish your Pokédex or looking to strengthen your team, participating in this Raid Day is definitely worthwhile.
Naturally, you can also purchase an Event Pass for $4.99 or its regional equivalent, which will grant you even more rewards. This includes eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs, bringing your daily total to 14. Additionally, you'll have a chance to earn Rare Candy XL, receive 50% more XP, and get 2x Stardust from Raid Battles.
Last but certainly not least, there's a free Timed Research available. Complete it to earn 10,000 Stardust, and if you participate in a Raid Battle, you'll gain an additional 1,000 Stardust along with other goodies. Just make sure to claim your rewards before 5pm local time on May 3rd!
