Monopoly GO and Star Wars Collab: Podracing and Lightsabers This Summer!

Monopoly GO! is set to launch into hyperspace with its latest event, following its successful Marvel collaboration last year. The upcoming Monopoly GO x Star Wars crossover is poised to be one of the most significant collaborations Scopely has ever undertaken.

When Is the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Collab?

Mark your calendars: the event kicks off on May 1st and will run until July 2nd. The adventure begins with PEG-E, the Monopoly GO robot, immersing herself in a Star Wars movie at Mr. M's private cinema. As she gets lost in the film, PEG-E and her friends find themselves transported into the Star Wars galaxy, where the usual game of properties and hotels transforms into an epic battle between Jedi and Sith, the light side and the dark.

During the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Collab, players can collect a new Star Wars GO! sticker album. This album unfolds like a comic book, creatively reimagining parts of the Star Wars universe through PEG-E’s imaginative lens. The stickers feature beloved characters such as R2-D2, C-3PO, BB-8, Yoda, Mace Windu, Luke Skywalker, Rey Skywalker, Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Grogu, Qui-Gon Jinn, and the Mandalorian.

In addition to the sticker collection, Monopoly GO's traditional events are getting a Star Wars makeover. Mini-games will take place on iconic locations like Tatooine and the Mos Espa Grand Arena, where you might even see Qui-Gon and Mr. M engaging in thrilling podracing action.

There’s More!

The event trailer premiered during Star Wars Celebration Japan, teasing a gameplay experience steeped in Star Wars references. Expect to see lightsabers, space travel, and a galaxy-spanning adventure. Check out the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Collab trailer below for a sneak peek:

Similar to previous events, players can unlock various Star Wars-themed cosmetics, including tokens, shields, and emojis. Stay tuned to the game's social media channels for the latest news and updates throughout the event.

Don't miss out on this exciting crossover! Download Monopoly GO! from the Google Play Store and jump into the adventure when it launches.
