The previous record was held by Monster Hunter: World (2018) with 334,000 active players, followed by Monster Hunter Rise (2022) with 230,000. Despite this monumental achievement, the game has encountered significant technical challenges, leading to a wave of negative reviews on Steam due to bugs and frequent crashes.

Monster Hunter Wilds introduces a standalone storyline that serves as an excellent starting point for newcomers. Set in a world teeming with dangerous creatures, players embark on a journey through the mysterious Forbidden Lands.
