MSI's Nvidia RTX 50-Series Cards Sold Under Alias at Walmart

May 03,2025 Author: Lily

If you're on the hunt for one of the new Nvidia Blackwell graphics cards and want to avoid hefty markups, who better to trust than the manufacturers themselves? MSI, one of Nvidia's premier AIB partners, sells its products directly on the Walmart online marketplace through its subsidiary brand, "Raideals." Currently, you can find a range of graphics cards from the budget-friendly RTX 5060 Ti to the high-end RTX 5080, some of which are offered at the lowest prices available online.

It's important to note that even if a graphics card is listed at "list price," it may not align with Nvidia's suggested launch price. For instance, the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, which launched at $429, is currently listed by MSI at $609. This price difference can be attributed to enhanced build quality, features like advanced cooling systems, and overclocking capabilities, as well as the manufacturer's markup. Unfortunately, these markups are now a standard part of the market unless you're lucky enough to snag an Nvidia Founder's Edition card.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Review by Jacqueline Thomas

"Easily able to handle most AAA games at 1080p with all the eye candy turned up, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti is a great mid-range graphics card. Just do yourself a favor and stay away from the 8GB version."

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Review by Jacqueline Thomas

"The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 is complicated. It does what it says on the tin: play games at 1440p at a high frame rate. But the problem is that it doesn’t necessarily do that better than the RTX 4070 Super, or any other graphics card in this price range. It does add Multi Frame Generation, which is nice to have for anyone with a high-refresh monitor, but that alone isn’t worth the upgrade."

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Review by Jacqueline Thomas

"For the money, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is simply the best 4K graphics card for most people. It’s not only significantly faster than its predecessor, but DLSS 4 and multi frame generation will keep it relevant for years."

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 Review by Jacqueline Thomas

"The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 is an extremely competent 4K graphics card for its price. It’s just not quite the performance uplift that hardcore enthusiasts who upgrade every generation are going to want to see."

If you're thinking of a prebuilt PC, consider Alienware

If you're not keen on building your own PC and prefer a prebuilt option, Alienware offers competitive pricing on select RTX 50 series gaming PCs. These systems are readily available, come with a 1-year warranty, and offer the option to extend it. Given the current market's high markups on graphics cards, opting for a prebuilt PC might not only save you money but also time and effort.
