Netflix Is Dropping The Electric State: Kid Cosmo, a Prequel Game to the Upcoming Movie

Netflix is launching a retro-futuristic puzzle game, The Electric State: Kid Cosmo, to coincide with the release of its upcoming sci-fi adventure film, The Electric State. Launching March 18th, just days after the film's March 14th premiere, the game serves as a prequel, exploring the childhood of key characters Chris and Michelle, played by Chris Pratt and Millie Bobby Brown respectively, in the film directed by the Russo brothers.
This isn't a simple movie adaptation; Kid Cosmo offers a game-within-a-game experience, developed by BUCK Games (creators of the popular Steam title Let's! Revolution!) in collaboration with AGBO. Set in 1985 Wichita, Kansas, the game unfolds over five years, revealing the characters' journey before the film's events. Players will solve puzzles, collect modules, repair Kid Cosmo's ship, and uncover the mysteries of this strange world.
The Electric State: Kid Cosmo continues Netflix's trend of interactive spin-offs, joining titles like Stranger Things: Puzzle Tales, Too Hot to Handle, Money Heist: Ultimate Choice, and Squid Game: Unleashed.
