Nintendo has begun sending out confirmation emails to lucky fans who applied for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 Experience events. The registration window for these events opened on January 17, 2025, following the reveal of the Switch 2 trailer, and closed on January 26, 2025. To participate, a free Nintendo Account was required, and the company provided detailed registration rules and event guidelines on their website.

For those who weren't selected, Nintendo didn't leave them out in the cold. They received emails informing them about upcoming waitlists opening on January 29, 2025, at 4 PM ET / 3 PM CT / 1 PM PT, offering another chance to secure a spot if new openings or cancellations occur.
