A decade ago, Picture Cross burst onto the scene under the name World’s Biggest Picture Cross, setting the standard as the ultimate nonogram app for mobile devices. Now, with an impressive collection of over 10,000 puzzles, Picture Cross is marking its 10th anniversary with exciting new modes and an even greater variety of puzzles.
Picture Cross boasts an extensive array of puzzles, featuring various grid sizes and difficulty levels ranging from Easy to Expert. The gameplay remains faithful to the classic nonogram format, where you use numerical clues to fill in the correct squares, gradually unveiling stunning pixel art images.
The images you unlock come in entire themed packs and hidden poster scenes. The game offers more than 60 themed puzzle packs. Dive into Motorsport for a hundred adrenaline-pumping puzzles, or embark on a cosmic journey with Moonshot, featuring 100 space-themed challenges.
For those with a taste for nostalgia, Mini Golf offers delightful course-themed puzzles. Music enthusiasts can groove with Rockstar, while fans of the future can explore Sci-Fi Celebration with its alien and warp drive puzzles. Delve into mythical realms with Mythical Monsters and Fairy Tales, or unearth ancient mysteries with Archaeology.
For a more down-to-earth experience, try A Day At The Races or The Airport, each revealing a fresh scene. Pirates! offers a thrilling shipload of puzzles. If you've conquered everything, the Encyclopedia of Picture Cross provides a remixed collection to keep the challenge alive.
To celebrate its milestone, Picture Cross introduces a Map View to help you strategically plan your puzzle-solving journey. A new Tournament Mode is now available for those who enjoy a competitive edge. Additionally, a comprehensive playing guide offers solving strategies, applicable to both classic and multi-color puzzles across all modes.
Pete Williamson, CEO of puzzling.com, the game's creators, expressed his delight at reaching this 10-year mark. He extended heartfelt thanks to the fans and hinted at more exciting updates coming in 2025 and beyond. Don't miss out—check out Picture Cross on the Google Play Store.
