Pokémon TCG Pocket is set to roll out some thrilling updates that fans have been eagerly awaiting. One of the most anticipated features, trading, is finally making its way into the game, along with the exciting Space-Time Smackdown expansion. This means you'll soon have the chance to swap cards with your friends, enhancing your gaming experience.
Mark your calendars! Starting January 29th, 2025, you'll be able to trade cards within Pokémon TCG Pocket. Following closely behind, the Space-Time Smackdown expansion will launch on January 30th, 2025. This update not only brings new cards but also enhances your digital binder and display board with fresh covers featuring Dialga, Palkia, and Darkrai.
The introduction of trading has been a long-awaited feature, and it's finally here. To participate in trading, you'll need two new items: trade hourglasses and trade tokens. Keep in mind that the cards eligible for trading are limited to rarity levels 1-4 and ★1. Initially, you'll be able to trade cards from the Genetic Apex and Mythical Island expansions, with the promise of more tradeable cards in future updates.
The Space-Time Smackdown expansion dives into the Sinnoh region, bringing with it two new booster packs centered around the Legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia. Alongside these, you'll find stunning new card illustrations. The expansion also includes Lucario, the steel-and-fighting type powerhouse, and the three beloved starter Pokémon from Sinnoh: Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup.
