Get ready for some serious martial arts action in Pokémon GO's upcoming Might and Mastery event! Kicking off March 4th, 2025 and running until June 3rd, 2025, this event packs a punch with a new Pokémon and a legendary debut.
Who's the Might and Mastery in Pokémon GO?
Prepare to meet Kubfu, the pint-sized Fighting-type powerhouse ready to join your team! During the event, you can evolve Kubfu into one of two powerful Urshifu forms: Single Strike Style and Rapid Strike Style. The Might and Mastery season also introduces Dynamax, bringing kaiju-sized Pokémon battles to the game. Witness Kubfu's incredible power on a truly massive scale!
The adventure begins with the Might and Mastery Special Research, available from March 5th at 10:00 a.m. to June 3rd at 9:59 a.m. This research unfolds in stages throughout the season, so keep an eye on your research tab to avoid missing out.
Kubfu makes its official Pokémon GO debut in the Powerful Potential event, running from March 5th to March 10th. Important note: Kubfu cannot be traded, sent to the professor, or transferred to Pokémon HOME.

Participate in Epic Battles
From March 8th at 6:00 a.m. to March 9th at 9:00 p.m., prepare for Max Battles! Power Spots will refresh more frequently. One-Star Max Battles will feature Dynamax Grookey, Dynamax Scorbunny, and Dynamax Sobble. Six-Star Max Battles bring the heavy hitters: Gigantamax Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. You'll also encounter Gothita, Solosis, and Sinistea in One-Star Raids, and Alolan Raichu, Hisuian Typhlosion, and Sableye in Three-Star Raids.
