Get ready, Pokémon Go trainers! The February Community Day event details are here, featuring Karrablast and Shelmet! This exciting event runs from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time on February 9th, 2025.

Featured Pokémon:

Karrablast and Shelmet will be appearing more frequently in the wild, increasing your chances of catching them – and even their Shiny variants! The real excitement lies in their evolutions.

Evolving Karrablast during the event (or until 10:00 p.m. local time on February 16th) yields an Escavalier knowing the powerful Charged Attack, Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 power in Gyms and Raids). Similarly, evolving Shelmet within this timeframe grants you an Accelgor with the Charged Attack Energy Ball (a hefty 90 power in all battle types).

Special Research and Timed Research:

A Special Research taskline offers encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, plus a Premium Battle Pass and a Rare Candy XL. A week-long Timed Research event follows the main Community Day, unlocking further encounters with these Pokémon and their special backgrounds.
